For
a 3 piece band you guys really seem to put out a lot of
music. This is my 1st listen to your band, and I have to
say that I really like what you're doing. You've done very
respectable covers of Little Red Rooster, Help Me, and
Trouble in mind. Your originals are both interesting (1/2
Stepin' Chicken) and impressive (The Freeze). Your music
will fit right into what I like to play during my show.
You will be a great addition to "Highway Blues".
Thanks for the music.

I
enjoyed this recording and added it to our Blues library.
Instrumentation is great and I particularly liked the "roots
feel" of the recording.

This is simple, no frills Blues as it was meant to be
played and heard. Take a listen to Little Red Rooster and
see how this version puts those Rolling Stones to shame!
To take on classics, as performed by others, does not always
work, but this band need have no fear. The only thing lacking?
More Hammond Organ guys, that really gives those tracks an
edge. Overall, a very tight and professional band.

This is some serious rocking stuff from the band led
by guitarist, vocalist Christopher Morda. Wisely chosen covers
complement original material. Production could be a bit stronger
and a few additional players would do justice to Christopher's
own material.

You need to have this CD in your collection. Pretty good music. No excuse to
not have this music right now on your CD players. Buy it you will not be disapoint
at all.

Good tight blues band. I played tracks
on a Special Edition of my show 6-05-06 and on my regular
show 6-12-06. I'll play more of this. Keep up the good work.
Let me know if you tour Northern or Central California.

Being
a blues afficiando I totally enjoyed this C.D. Good solid
vocal tracks, enjoyed their take on "Little Red Rooster", was it intentional
or just the strange way that I think that the obvious choice
and track listing is "1/2 Steppin' Chicken" and
then "Little Red Rooster" which ties in nicely
with track 9 the self composed "Barnyard Boogie".
To me it felt like the Fabulous Thunderbirds meet Mr Hooker.
Enjoyed the 5 string bass playing - great stuff - KEEP ON
ROCKING!

This
CD is such exciting fun to listen to. Stand out tracks "The Freeze" and
the wonderful "Little Red Rooster". I am playing
these tracks virtually every breakfast show. A great piece
of authentic blues which is just a pleasure to listen to.
Stunning work!

Thank
you very much for sending the "Barnyard Boogie" by Stone Crazy Blues Band. I
love the mix of rock style blues/country/bluegrass and most
of the contents is most suitable for my show.

Greetings
from Joanne McGinnis on behalf of radio 8CCCFM 102.1 in Alice
Springs and Tennant Creek in Australia (in Central Australia
which is in the Northern Territory). Featured your album
on my Blues music show which runs on a Friday 1-3pm and absolutely
loved it!! great musicianships, singing and production. Fab
album you guys. Have been to Seattle, Washington too back
in 2001. Visited the Experience Museum for a day (needed
more time there though) and saw Ray Manzarek and his ensemble,
doing their "Doors" thing live in the auditorium
part of the Exp.museum. Keep up the blues music!! kind regards,
