 The
Stone Crazy Blues Band, originally a Northwest US based
blues trio, now based out of New York, was
formed in early 2004 by guitarist Chris
Morda, bassist Forrest
Giberson, and drummer
Lorne Watson with the vision
of infusing some new energy into the Northwest blues scene. After
a few years of performing in Seatle clubs the band release their
debut album, Barnyard Boogie, featuring Chris Morda's unique
use of lap steel guitar and introducing the 12 Tone Ultra Plus
Guitar, a unique guitar featuring 27 notes per octave. The recording
was well received and played on radio stations internationally.
The band's latests release, Microsotned features 11 instrumentals
recorded on 12 Tone Ultra Plus and Fretless Guitars and is unique
beyond any blues recording you've ever heard. Use the links to
